Is Swathi A Part Of 'Karthikeya 2'?

'Karthikeya â 2' is all set to hit the screens on 12th August and we all know that it is a sequel to 'Karthikeya' which came out 8 years back. Nikhil is the hero in both films while Chandoo Mondeti is the director. This mystery thriller was postponed several times due to unannounced reasons. After a lot of delays, the movie is arriving during the Independence weekend. But there is no clarity where 'Karthikeya 2' is a continuation of the first part or a separate film with a similar storyline.
As we know, a usual sequel begins where the first film ended. It will have the same characters though a few new ones can be introduced. During an interview, Nikhil confirmed that 'Karthikeya 2' is a pakka sequel to the first part. 'Karthikeya' ends after solving a big mystery and the hero walks on stage to take his degree certificate. Nikhil revealed that 'Karthikeya 2' story begins three years after the end of 'Karthikeya'. He faces another mystery and how he solves it forms the crux of the story.
If it is a continuation, a lot of people are questioning about Swathi who played the female lead in 'Karthikeya'. Nikhil did not give a clear answer to this and asked people to wait till the movie arrives on the big screens. It is well known that Anupama Parameswaran is the female lead in the second part and a love song between them was also released. We need to wait and see whether Swathi will be present in 'Karthikeya 2' or not.
Anupama Parameswaran plays the role of Mugdha. Elite Bollywood actor Anupam Kher will be seen as Dhanvantari while Srinivas Reddy plays the role of Sadananda. Harsha Chemudu's role is named Suleman while Aditya Menon is going to be seen as Santanu. As it is known, 'Karthikeya 2' is having a pan-Indian release. Apart from arriving in Telugu, it is getting dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. This movie is produced jointly by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal. Kaala Bhairava is the music composer while Anupam Kher is playing a vital role. Vivek Kuchobotla is working on this film while Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer.
