Three big films are releasing during the Sankranti season and the biggest of the lot is definitely 'Varisu' in terms of budget and hero's market. Vijay's popular is huge in Tamil and he has good craze in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam speaking states as well. As we all know, his movie is getting released in Telugu as 'Varasudu' and there are good expectations on it.
The latest we hear about 'Varisu' is that Vijay is reportedly getting a humongous remuneration of 105 crores. Along with that, the producer is going to pay GST also which is approximately 19 crores. As per reports, Vamsi Paidipally got 15 crores as a director and the rest of the cast and crew which includes big names like Rashmika Mandanna, Srikanth, Jayasudha, music composer Thaman too got a fat pay cheque.
Grapevine suggests that the budget for this movie is around 100 crores. This means that the movie costed around 250 crores for producer Dil Raju. As we know, both 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy' were made on 120 and 100 crores budgets including all remunerations. Sources say that the pre-release business helped all these films to enter the safe zone already.
Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha are the prominent cast of 'Varisu'. Vamshi Paidipally along with Hari and Ashishor Solomon wrote the story. Karthick Palani is taking care of the cinematography, wherein KL Praveen is the editor. Sri Harshith Reddy and Sri Hanshitha are the co-producers of the film. Sunil Babu & Vaishnavi Reddy are the production designers.
