It's Official: 'Jai Bhim' Director & Rajni Team Up For #Thalaivar170!

Superstar Rajnikanth is a man who needs no introduction. He has the ability to make the crowds go crazy with just a casual look or a walk. He is currently working under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie is titled 'Jailer' and Rajni's look in the film got a very good response.
Rajni has a habit of working with commercial directors as well as critically acclaimed directors despite his humongous stardom. He gave chance to Pa Ranjith as they made 'Kaala' and 'Kabali' together. In the same manner, he is reportedly going to join hands with TJ Gnanavel who made a highly acclaimed movie titled 'Jai Bhim' which had Suriya in the lead.
The news has become official now as the Lyca Productions banner has officially announced the project. Musical sensation Anirudh will be composing music for this crazy project. In the official letter, the production banner said, "On the occasion of our beloved chairman Subaskaran's birthday, Lyca Productions is feeling acclaimed & honored in announcing Superstar Rajnikanth's '#Thalaivar170' film under our banner."
The shooting of this movie will commence soon under the leadership of GKM Tamil Kumaran and will be ready for release in 2024. Gnanavel proved his talent with 'Jai Bhim' and surprised everyone with his touching tale and gripping narration. It will be interesting to see what kind of movie he makes with a massive mass star like Rajnikanth.
Apart from this film, Rajni is playing a special role in 'Laal Salaam' which is being directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajnikanth.
Coming back to 'Jailer', Kalanithi Maran is bankrolling this project under the Sun Pictures banner and Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer. R Nirmal is the editor and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar will be playing a key role in this movie along with actors like Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Tamannaah, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu.
