What Is The PR Team Of 'Jaanu' Doing?

As we all know, 'Jaanu' which is releasing on 7th February is a remake of a Tamil hit film '96'. The original is considered as a classic in recent times and Prem Kumar who directed the Tamil version came on board for 'Jaanu' too.
The film got a good buzz before rolling but it all went down now despite all the efforts from the makers. They brought in star heroine Samantha and talented actor Sharwanand to play the lead roles. They also did some interviews together and even invited Nani for their pre-release event. They released a glimpse first, followed by a few songs and a theatrical trailer in quick succession. Even after all these, the film is neither grabbing the public's interest nor attention.
It is the first time for a Sharwanand's film to get such a low buzz prior to its release. As this is a classy film, more effort needs to be put in taking the film into towns and villages so that they can connect with the film's soul. But the PR team did not do anything of those sorts and the film is not making any kind of news even in cities. It may be due to the confidence in their film but many people already watched the original which may heavily affect its box-office fortunes.
On top of it, Vijay Devarakonda is coming with his 'World Famous Lover' on 14th February. We all know the craze Vijay has amongst the youth. Sharwanand usually takes a lot of care about his films but his silence for this film is creating many doubts. Let us wait and see what happens.
