For the past couple of days, there has been a lot of talk regarding Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming action thriller 'Jawan'. The makers have announced last year that it will be hitting the screens worldwide on June 7th but sources claim that it got postponed till October due to delays in shooting.

This is yet to be confirmed but fans of Prabhas are very happy about 'Jawan' release date getting pushed further. Going into the details, Prabhas' 'Adipurush' is all set to hit the screens on 16th June. Though it was planned to release long back, the team decided to spend more time on post-production works including the VFX due to the heavy criticism received when the teaser came out.

'Adipurush' is a mythological film where Prabhas will be seen as lord Ram while Kriti Sanon plays the role of Sita. Sunny Singh will be seen as Laxman while Saif Ali Khan played the role of antagonist Lankesh in the movie. Directed by Om Raut and produced under the T-Series banner, there are high expectations on this movie.

If 'Jawan' came out on 7th June, things would be very difficult for Prabhas' film. There is a lot of negativity over 'Adipurush' already and SRK recently scored a massive hit like 'Pathaan' which earned more than 1000 crores worldwide. Competing with Shah Rukh at this point in time would have been a self-sabotage from 'Adipurush' team but the news of 'Jawan' getting postponed is exciting the Prabhas fans as they feel it can work in their advantage. Let us wait and see how things turn out in June.
