For people who are thinking that the heading is just clickbait, it is absolutely true. The humongous blockbuster pan-Indian film which minted over 1100 crores in theatres after getting released on 16th April has been made available on Amazon Prime Video from Monday. It has exactly been thirty days since the movie's release and the top OTT platform made it available without any kind of announcement.

But it is not available for free. Sources suggest that the high budget action entertainer can be viewed if you pay Rs. 199 for the OTT platform. The movie should be watched within 48 hours of the payment. If not, people need to pay again in case they want to watch it. It is the same as the pay-per-view model in which 'RRR' is getting released on May 20th on the ZEE5 OTT platform.

The team of 'RRR' and ZEE5 teams are being severely trolled for releasing the film on a pay-per-view basis for the past few days. Looks like Amazon Prime has to face the same heat from the movie lovers. Interestingly, 'KGF – 2' was released three weeks after 'RRR' hit the screens but it was made available digitally four days ahead of Rajamouli's magnum opus.

The production house Homebale Films has made a tweet revealing the news of being able to watch the super hit second chapter on 'Video On Demand' mode. Amazon Prime Video too released a special trailer a few hours ago. Looks like digital platforms are trying to make the most out of the popularity of these huge projects before making it freely available to their subscribers.

Let us wait and see how the audiences receive it.
