'KGF-2' is a pan-Indian film which was supposed to hit the screens in July but it may get postponed due to the Coronavirus. The film needs a perfect release date since it will be released in multiple languages. The first part was a huge success and director Prasanth Neel upped the stakes for the second chapter by getting big actors and bringing more money into the film's making.
Sources say that 'RRR' may get postponed to next year and with Dusshera slot left wide open, 'KGF-2' may release then. It will be a perfect time to release such a big project as there will be no other films to compete with and it can have a pan-Indian release without any hurdles.
But the twist in the tale comes in the form of stylish star Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' which is also a pan-Indian film. Directed by Sukumar, it is being made in two parts and sources say that the first part will be coming during the Dusshera season. Allu Arjun holds a huge fanbase across South India and he has a decent following in North too. The teaser of 'Pushpa' got a huge response and if 'KGF 2' and Allu Arjun's film arrive at the same time, it will be the biggest South Indian clash in recent times. Let us see if it happens or not.
