Keeravani and Chandrabose Honoured At Republic Day Event!

Pan-India film RRR is enjoying global success. After earning big collections and big support from the west, the magnum opus won the prestigious Golden Globe Award 2023 in the Original song category for the Naatu Naatu song. It was nominated for the Oscars as well.
As another big feather, MM Keeravani and Chandrabose who penned the Naatu Naatu song were honoured by the Governor of Telangana on the eve of Republic Day. As part of the Republic Day celebrations held at Raj Bhavan today, the Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan honoured the duo.
Keeravanai and Chandrabose were presented with a shawl and memo. Along with others like Table Tennis Player Akula Srija, and Civils Teacher Balalatha, they were honoured. Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and DGP Anjani Kumar were present at the ceremony.
Keeravani who is celebrating the massive success of RRR in all the ways added another feather to his cap by getting felicitated by the Governor of state. He shared his happiness about getting honoured and thanked his family and mentors.
"Much honoured by the civilian award from the Govt of India. Respect for my parents and all of my mentors from Kavitapu Seethanna garu to Kuppala Bulliswamy Naidu garu on this occasion," MM Keeravani said in his Tweet.
It has to be mentioned here that Keeravani was also nominated for one of the highest civilian awards Padma Shri for 2023. He was nominated for the award in Arts and Culture. Along with ninety others across the states and fields he was selected.
