Kollywood Directors Going Through A Rough Phase Trying Their Luck In Tollywood!

Post Bahubali, the way other industries see Tollywood has changed, thanks to Rajamouli. Big stars from Bollywood and other industries are showing interest to act in Telugu films. The same is the case with Kollywood directors too.
Earlier, Telugu stars expressed their willingness to work with Tamil directors given the market they enjoy. However, the instances where Kollywood directors directed Telugu Stars are very few.
Things have changed completely now. One of the leading directors in the country Shankar, who is known for making films on a grandeur scale has finalised a film with Mega Power Star Ram Charan.
The fun fact is that Megastar Chiranjeevi tried to work with Shankar, but the director didn't show much interest in this. However, Shankar is going through a rough phase with issues with his ongoing films.
He had some issues with the action thriller Indian 2, the sequel of the hit 1996 film starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in the lead role. With the director announcing other projects without completing Indian 2, the producer has moved the Film Chambers against the director.
The same goes with other directors like N. Lingusamy and Murugadoss, who once gave back-to back-hits in Kollywood. The two directors are expected to work with 'Energetic Star' Ram Pothineni.
Looks like directors, who enjoyed star status earlier and going through a dull face are looking at Tollywood and trying their luck in Tollywood. Will the lady luck shine on these directors. Only time has an answer for this.
