Kollywood Star Actor Ready To Star In A Web Series

In the current situation, no one knows when the film theatres will be reopened. Even the films which have already completed the shooting have gone without a chance to be screened on the big screen. However, small budget films are now making their way to the OTT platforms, while some big movies in Bollywood are also being released in digital platforms.
Several filmmakers acknowledged the fact that OTT platforms will become key sources of entertainment in the future. As of now, star actors like Samantha, Nithya Menen, Priyamani have starred in Hindi web series and young actors like Navdeep, Sathya Dev, Sandeep Kishan have acted in web series while no star actor from Telugu has signed a deal with the digital platforms.
However, South Star Surya is now about to change the traditions. Now, Surya is ready to act in a web series which will be directed by nine directors one for each episode.
Ace director Mani Ratnam has planned a web series with a different concept to take nine episodes by nine directors. Along with him, Gautam Menon, Karthik Naren, Nambiar, heroes Siddharth and Arvind Swamy and three others will be directing one episode each. More details about this are yet to be revealed.
