Despite entering the film industry as a regular heroine, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar quickly made a special place for herself with content-oriented roles. She took up challenging characters which gave a scope to perform. She played negative roles in movies like 'Krack', 'Sarkar' and 'Pandem Kodi 2'. She even did a lot of prominent role in 'Tenali Ramakrishna', 'Maari 2' and many others. She is a part of Balakrishna's upcoming film with Gopichand Malineni too.
Now, she came onboard for a pan-Indian project titled 'Michael'. Sundeep Kishan who had decent craze in Telugu and Tamil markets is the hero in this movie and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is doing a very prominent role.
