Tollywood Young sensational Vijay Devarakonda aka Rowdy has joined forces with one of the popular filmmakers Puri Jagannadh for his maiden Pan Indian project LIGER (Saala Crossbreed).
Like the other films, LIGER also became the victim of Covid 19 situations with the shooting coming to a halt. As a result, the makers have decided to postpone the release date too.
In a statement the makers of LIGER announced the postponement of the release date and said, the teaser will be unveiled at a better time. The makers hoped that everyone is staying indoors and taking care of their loved ones.
'We were all geared up to reveal a power packed teaser for LIGER on 9th May. However, due to the current scenario and environment that our country is facing, we have decided to postpone the same in the hope to share it with the world at a better time for us all,' the statement reads.
'Sit tight and until then we request all of you to stay safe, take care of all your dear ones, help each other and get vaccinated at the earliest. Take all the precautionary measures as prescribed by the medical fraternity and be sure that - we are all in this together.See you soon at the theatres when we're healthy and strong as a country,' the statement added.
The statement was released in the name of Vijay Devarakonda, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, and Puri Jagannadh's Puri Connects.
LIGER, which is touted to be an action entertainer, is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Vijay received training in Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) and will be seen in a never-before avatar. B-town beauty Ananya Pandey is playing the leading beauty in LIGER.
