'New Saravana Stores' is one of the most popular shopping centeres in Tamil Nadu. It is a very successful enterprise with loads of branches. Saravanan, who is the owner of this chain of shopping stores has had an interest in acting right from the very beginning. He used to appear in every advertisement of his stories and roped in famous heroines to dance by his side.
He decided to become a hero and made a movie named 'The Legend'. He released the film in multiple languages and there was a rumour that he paid around 20 crores for Urvashi Rautela for acting as the heroine in this project. Set in the backdrop of the medical mafia, the movie was made on a grand scale and Saravanan was seen as a scientist who strives to do good for the society.
Big names like Geethika, Vivek, Nasser, Prabhu, Vijaykumar, Yogi Babu and others played key roles. Top technicians like cinematographer Velraj, music composer Harris Jayaraj and editor Ruben worked on this film. There were huge trolls on him prior to the film's release and they doubled after the movie hit the screens. It was a huge failure.
The latest we hear is that the businessman turned actor is going to start his second project soon. The official announcement will be arriving soon and it is expected to be a romantic drama.
