It is known that star actress Deepika Padukone was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning as a part of the ongoing drugs case. Her husband Ranveer Singh has put in a request to the NCB asking if he could be present during the questioning of his wife Deepika. Ranveer reportedly said that Deepika suffers from anxiety and gets panic attacks at times which is why he should be granted permission to stay by her side.
She will be appearing before the NCB officials on Saturday as they found an online chat between the star actress and her manager Karishma Prakash where the ‘Ram Leela' actress was reportedly asking 'hash' from Karishma.
Ranveer on the other hand, claims that he is a law-abiding citizen and knows that no one should be present at the questioning apart from the required person but he is said to be concerned about the well-being of his wife as she may get panic attacks in stressful situations.
Apart from Deepika, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were also expected to be grilled on Saturday while Deepika's manager and Rakul are being questioned today.
