Lukewarm Response For 'Disco Raja' On Day1

Ravi Teja's 'Disco Raja' which was directed by VI Anand released on 24th January amidst good expectations. The songs and teasers brought a lot of curiosity over this film and everyone hoped that Ravi Teja will be making a strong comeback this time.
Sadly, the film met with mixed reviews and many wrote that it is not unique and interesting as the teasers suggested. They claimed that there are a lot of flaws in the film which made it disappointing. Keeping them aside, the film reportedly collected 2.9 crores on its first day in the Telugu states. This is very low keeping in mind Ravi Teja's image and standards. This may be because of his last three films being disasters.
The film was sold for 22 crores across AP & Telangana. Looking at the first day collections, the film may be having a tough time to recover its investment. Let us wait and see what happens.
