Nani, who was recently seen in Amazon Prime release, Tuck Jagadish is now in the firing line for the comments he made about the ongoing MAA elections. Well, Nani made these comments a long while ago but they have caught the attention of the MAA fraternity and Telugu cinema followers just now. Going into the story, during the promotions of Tuck Jagadish, Nani was asked about the poor trend in Tollywood that he would like to change and put an end to, if given the power. This question was asked by a top Bollywood portal. In response to the question, Nani made a very interesting comment which is irking MAA members now.

In response to the said question, Nani said he doesn't like the ongoing fuss about the MAA elections and said he would like to change the same if he has the power to do the same. "I don't like the MAA elections trend. There have been several press meets and media addresses in regard to the MAA elections. This is an unhealthy trend and I would like to put an end to it. Also, the contestants are making offensive comments on each other. I would like for this to stop," Nani replied to the question.

Now, MAA members are finding fault with Nani's comments. "We (MAA members) put our heart and soul into the MAA elections. It is unfair of Nani to comment about MAA elections while he is not a part of the election campaign. He doesn't have a detailed understanding of the way MAA elections are carried out. How can he comment about the MAA elections procedure while he is not a part of the election campaign? His comments were made in poor taste," a MAA election campaign follower said.

As for Nani, he recently wrapped up shooting for Shyam Singha Roy and he is currently busy with Ante Sundaraniki, which is being directed by Vivek Athreya. He has also lined up a love drama that will be directed by a newcomer named Srikanth. He is yet to react to the criticism he is facing for his comments on MAA.
