Maharashtra Govt Permits For Film Shootings

After the filmmakers, actors and other supporting staff of Broadcasting Foundation in Mumbai met CM Uddhav Thackeray, the Maharasthra government gave a nod for resuming shootings of films, TV serials, advertisements, OTT, etc with some terms and conditions.
The government released a notification in this regard and the shootings will be allowed with certain terms and conditions.
Under these rules, producers can resume pre-production and post-production work in the state.
For the shoot in Mumbai, producers have to apply for Maharashtra Film, Theater and Cultural Development Corporation and for the rest of districts they can get the permission from respective district collectors. While the Covid cases rose to 65,168 in Maharashtra, 2197 people have died of the virus.
