Don't get us wrong, we are not saying helping a village or trying to bring awareness to issues in villages, is boring or a crime. But Mahesh seems to repeat it as a formula.
The problem lies with him trying too many films in similar tone, which he stayed away from so long. He said once that he saw his father Superstar Krishna doing similar films and hence, he decided to change that pattern when he is acting in films.
But from Srimanthudu, his films seems to be sticking to similar story with directors bringing in new elements and actors into the mix.
Be it a Rich guy with heart of gold, a middle-class Spy with one mission on hand, a CM who thinks for people and a CEO who comes back to his country for his friend - all seems to have villages and helping them as a theme undercurrent.
It is great to see Mahesh looking to only spread good word and give relevant message but he may need to look at one completely different from such films to just the break the mould.
Anyways, Devi Sri Prasad is ready to praise Mahesh Babu's contribution to a village that is represented by Vijayashanthi in a song, "Suryudivo Chandrudivo", from Sarileru Neekevvaru.
After Pora Srimanthuda, Vacchadayyo Saami, Ide Kada, this might be their fourth song where DSP tries praise Mahesh and his contribution to people as part of the story.
The song will be released on 9th December as part of promotional strategy that producer Anil Sunkara has come up for the film. Every Monday, we will get one song from the team and this Monday, we can look forward to this number.
After Mind Block, DSP is looking for another hit single to rise the buzz of the film. Anil Ravipudi is directing the film with Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady.
