After reading the headline, you might feel how come that is possible? Why would Mahesh, who is enjoying Superstardom will accept a movie just for his kids?
Well, any star looks to be part of those films that younger generation enjoys and he saw that Anil Ravipudi's comedy in F2, worked with his kids.
Hence, he decided to come up with similar Sankranthi package film with the director, Anil Ravipudi, who already narrated a 40 minutes story during Maharshi early shooting days.
Anil was doing F2, at the time and Dil Raju, made sure that both of them meet and discuss about their next film. After their initial discussion, Mahesh asked Anil to wait for his commitments to be over and then, he can plan their film.
But F2 film and its success in connecting with youngsters made him go for Anil Ravipudi's film immediately and postpone Sukumar's film. Sukumar decided to go with Allu Arjun's next and that resulted in Mahesh dropping out of Sukumar's project completely.
Anyways, Mahesh is happy that his kids and fans are loving his mass look in Sarileru Neekevvaru but common audiences did complain about second half which was also an issue in F2. But the movie with Sankranthi Advantage is looking to touch the 100 crores mark while its rival Ala Vaikuntapurruloo is expected to cross or touch Rangasthalam numbers.
