Jersey' received critical acclaim and even Star Heroes showered praises on the Sports Drama. None of these factors brought the flick anywhere close to the Masses.
Of course, 'Jersey' is doing well in all the A Centres. It's particularly generating good shares in Nizam and Overseas. Inspite of ordinary reports, 'Kanchana 3' is dominant in the mass circuits. In fact, Lawrence-starrer is on par with Nani-starrer in the first weekend. This trend worried the Exhibitors and Distributors of 'Jersey'. Luckily for them, Collections remained steady on 1st Monday. In the case of 'Kanchana 3', Collections dropped after the first three days. This situation might work in favour of 'Jersey' in the week days.
Trade Circles say, 'Jersey' will face a big threat in the form of 'Avengers End Game' which is releasing this Friday. There is tremendous craze for this Hollywood Flick in the Telugu States. English and Telugu Dubbing Versions of the Avengers will have an impact of the revenues of 'Jersey' in A, B and C Centres, particularly in the second weekend.
Will the Nani-starrer end up underperforming inspite of the Blockbuster Talk? or Will it emerge as a clean winner by the end of full run? Anything Could Happen..!
