Shruti Haasan might have entered the film industry as her father is a big star. But it is her talent that placed her in the position where she is now. Not just acting, she is known for her singing talent and scored music for Eenadu, starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Victory Venkatesh.

Like any other celebrity, Shruti Haasan is also quite active on social media and gives an insight into her work life. A post she made last week was not interpreted by a few media outlets rightly. As they failed to understand what she was trying to convey, they carried out stories saying that Shruti Haasan was not well and dealing with a health condition.

The news carried out by the media outlets spread like a wildfire and people who knows Shruti Haasan started making calls to the star to inquire about her health condition. This made the actress take a call on putting a full stop to this.

Taking to social media, Shruti Haasan issued a big statement and cleared the airs on her health condition. The talented actress said, she has the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) condition like many women have, but there is no truth in the news that she was admitted to a hospital. Rubbishing the rumours, Shruti Haasan said, she is doing fine now and she is working on films.

The actress also said, a few media outlets did not read the whole post and took the issue in the wrong way and claimed that she is fine and there is nothing to worry about.

The mistake made by the media outlets resulted in Shruti Haasan stepping in and clearing all the airs. Issuing a big clarity, the actress said, she posted the video of the health condition as part of the challenge, she had accepted.

"Just wanted to clarify that I had put up a post a couple of days ago about my workout routine and having PCOS, which a lot of women have. Yes, it is challenging, but no, it doesn't mean I am unwell or in critical condition of any kind. And I have realised that some media outlets have blown it way out of proportion without reading the actual post, which is supposed to be positive. I also got calls today asking if I'm admitted to the hospital, which I am clearly not," the actress said on her Instagram account.
