Tollywood faced a tough time last year with the shootings stopped for six months and zero releases for almost a year. A lot of people suffered because of it starting from the big money producers to daily workers. The film industry bigwigs have come forward to help the people in need by setting up a charity and many celebrities have donated money to the government's trust fund.
While things looked like returning back to normalcy, the second wave has struck the nation and the Telugu states are facing the same situation once again. There are no shootings from the last couple of weeks and we cannot expect any new releases till June or July.
