MLC nomination under governor quota still pending?

Is the governor's quota MLC post turning out to be a jinxed one?  The recent developments make one think that this is so. It may be recalled that Governor Tamilisai Saundararajan has kept with her the file recommending Padi Kaushik Reddy's nomination as an MLC in Governor's quote under social category. When she did not clear the file, Kaushik Reddy had to be made an MLC in another quota.

The same story seems to be repeating even for former speaker Madhusudhanachary, who has been recommended for the MLC post under governor’s quote. It has been one week, but the Governor is yet to clear the file. The file has gone to the Rajbhavan one week ago, but the governor is sitting on the file for the last one week.

There are doubts within the TRS circles whether the governor was raising objections to the kind of 'social service' that Madhusudhanachary did. But some sources say that the governor has cleared the file but the Gazette to that effect has not yet been released.  The gazette release has been postponed due to the election code presently in force. Once the election commission gives the green signal, the gazette would be issued.
