Movies With This Storyline Failing To Connect With Audience!

Superstar Mahesh's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is out in theatres now and it is raking up the moolah. The box office numbers are expected to be huge and fans are thoroughly enjoying the superstar's swag and energy on the big screen. Despite Mahesh's presence, new avatar, hit songs and good entertainment, a lot of critics panned the movie for its run-of-the-mill narration and lack of emotional connectivity to the audience. They claim that the film solely banks on the star image of Mahesh.

Going into the details, Mahesh will be seen as the guy who lands in India to get back the money that was taken by the heroine. He encounters a woman crying and asks her about the problem. After knowing the issue, he takes it upon himself to teach a lesson to the bad guys in his own style. This happens in the second half and it runs on a predictable note. Many claim that taking others' revenge did not connect emotionally with the audience. People tend to own up the revenge of heroes as their own but not other characters'.

This is the same problem that arose with movies like NTR's 'Ooseravelli' and Gopichand's 'Wanted' too. The same is the case with Siddharth's 'Aata', Pawan's 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' and many others. Looks like people are not interested in the problems of other characters. Also, there is a complaint that all movies of Mahesh in recent times have a 'Saviour' complex where he arrives from outside and saves a village or a family or a city or a state. Let us see how much Mahesh's film earns by the end of this weekend.

Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta produced this film under Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus banners along with GMB Entertainments. Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Samuthirakani and others play key roles. R Madhie handles the cinematography, while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and AS Prakash takes care of the art department. Ram – Lakshman master composed the fights while Yugandhar is the VFX supervisor. Directed by Parasuram Petla, this film has Keerthy Suresh romancing Mahesh.
