Chay Completes A Decade In His Career

A lot of anticipation was built when it was announced that King Nagarjuna is introducing his son, Naga Chaitanya as the lead hero. Everyone thought that Nag would launch Chay under their home banner Annapurna Studios, but the actor gave the responsibility of launching his son to ace producer Dil Raju.
Chay shocked everyone by choosing a debut director Vas Varma for his first film Josh. Finally, Josh had released worldwide on 5th Spetmnerb, 2009. Making all the Akkineni fans disappointed, Josh flopped at the box office. But, Chay bounced back hard by coming up with his second film in a gap of four months.
That film is Ye Maya Chesave and there is no need to talk much other than the name as we all know how it became a classic in Tollywood. Since then, Chay didn't stick to romantic films and tried to experiment with various genres. In his decade long career, Chay scored many hits like 100% Love, Manam, Thadaka, Premam and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.
His last film Majili remained as the biggest hit in Chay's career and heavy expectations are being built on his next outing, Venky Mama. Starring his uncle Venkatesh in the other lead role, this film is slated to release in November. Hopefully, Chay continues his hit streak with this film as well.
