Young directors need to be very careful when they talk on public platforms. They are entitled to their own opinions but speaking out in public can often land them in trouble. 'C/o Kancherapalem' fame Venkatesh Maha in facing the same situation right now. The director who is just two movies old in the film industry has made some strong comments on 'KGF' during a director's roundtable and he is receiving a lot of backlash now.
He released a video apologizing for the choice of his words and even requested not to criticize the other directors who are sitting with him in the interview. But the trolling and criticism haven't stopped even now. It looks like Natural Nani shares the same opinion as the common public as he gives a counter to Venkatesh Maha over the comments he made on 'KGF'.
He stated that Indian cinema is so big because of commercial films. He added that they are the biggest money spinners in the film industry and claimed that there will be no revenue if the commercial cinema doesn't exist. He concluded by saying that commercial flicks are pillars and backbones of Indian cinema as people won't come to theatres for concept-oriented films if not for commercial films.
Currently, Nani is promoting his upcoming release 'Dasara' which is hitting the screens worldwide on 30th March. Dasara' is going to have a Singareni backdrop and the Telangana flavour is going to be a huge plus for the movie.
