While countries around the globe are in complete crisis, the demand for OTT platforms and home entertainment has surged up.
The Internet consumption has become a big issue now but this is the time for 'work from home' and staying indoors so there is so much time but so less entertainment!
Ace producer of Tollywood, Allu Aravind who own the first of its kind OTT platform 'Aha' exclusively for Telugu audience has made a dare debut in the OTT space fighting against the global giants like Netflix, Hotstar and Amazon Prime.
Earlier there were reports that Dil Raju would join hands with ace producer Suresh Babu and together they may launch an OTT platform for the movie lovers. The reasons were unknown why these men backed out. It is not known whether they are working on it to make sure it succeeds unlike the debacle of Aha!
Now small time entrepreneurs are all set to launch FILIM, a new OTT with better pricing and Movies and Web Series is all set to launch during Dussehra and they have also announced that they would premiere Pizza 2 film as the first film on their OTT.
It is evident that Aha is still in the initial stage while there is tough competition between Amazon Prime and Netflix. One wonders how these new people sustain growth in this heavy competition!
