After 2.0, visionary director Shankar opted to one more sequel and started Indian 2, which is the successor of his 1995 hit film of the same name. The shoot of this film was started in January this year but was soon stopped due to budget issues. After seven long months, the shoot has been resumed recently.
Tamil heroine Aishwarya Rajesh has been roped in to play a key role in the film. But the actress is now walked out of the film due to the delay in the shoot. Aishwarya herself revealed the news in a recent interview and stated that she had to leave the project due to the dates issues.
Though the shoot of Indian 2 is resumed, the lead actor Kamal Haasan is yet to join the sets. It is being heard that the actor will be joining the shoot after completing his Bigg Boss stint. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the other leading roles of this movie
