Many producers and actors ask for stricter laws against piracy but it is still prevailing. Nikhil Siddhartha got shock of his life when he stopped on road while travelling from Guntur to Hyderabad.
He went to the town for success event and while coming back to Hyderabad, he saw a lady selling piracy CDs on road as if they are vegetables.
He did not complain to the police but exposed how bad the situation is, for films to survive the piracy issue. He also exempted the lady as she started crying on camera as he started exposing the CDs.
In the video, we can see that the actor interacted with the public around as well, asking them if they prefer to watch film on such CDs.
He pleaded audiences to not encourage such piracy and also said that it is a matter of grave importance for each filmmaker as they spend crores to make a film.
He asked public to think about families of 100s of employees in films who will come to roads if they encourage piracy. Now, it is all in the hands of public to decide.
