Nithiin Not At All Interested In Digital Release For 'Rang De'!

Nani and Sudheer Babu's 'V' recently had an OTT release and Anushka's 'Nishabdham' is also getting released digitally on 2nd October. Sai Tej's 'Solo Brathuke So Better' is also expected to be streamed on ZEE5 within the next couple of weeks. As all these films are releasing on OTT platforms, Nithiin's 'Rang De' is also rumoured to have a digital release.
Gossip suggest that ZEE5 offered 28 crores for this film while the makers are quoting 40 crores and the discussions are still going on. News is that Nithiin is not that interested in OTT release as the result of 'V' and other films is not that encouraging. He is reportedly not positive about 'Rang De' getting released digitally. As the theatres are going to reopen shortly, he is said to be very confident that audience will be rushing into the theatres from November or December. The team of 'Rang De' has kept that decision on hold as of now and shifted their focus to completing the film first.
Venky Atluri who made 'Tholi Prema' and 'Mr Majnu' is directing this romantic comedy and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Keerthy Suresh is the film's heroine and the makers are planning to release this film in the Sankranti season.
