No Big Releases Anytime Soon!

While the second wave of Coronavirus is still strong, the film industry is planning shooting schedules and replanning their release dates. They are estimating that Corona would subside in June and the shootings may kickstart again smoothly by following health guidelines.
While it is happy to hear that the shootings may start again, there is still no clarity over the film releases as the theatres may not open in June. The government and people did not plan for the second wave but they need to be prepared for the third wave in case it happens. So, they will be quite careful and may not allow the reopening of theatres. In case if it happens, it may run on half capacity till the end of October.
If it happens, there is no chance of big films getting released this year. Experts say that most of the star hero movies will be coming out in 2022 and only medium budget films may arrive by the end of this year. Let us wait and see if movies like 'Khiladi', 'Love Story' and others come up this year or not.
