No Use Making Movies With Comedians!

Comedians turning into heroes is not a new phenomenon. Starting from yesteryear's Relangi, every popular comedian got full-length hero roles and they become partly successful too. Brahmanandam did a few films as the lead character in films and Ali had a big hit like 'Yamaleela' under his belt. Even Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagwan and others became heroes too.
We all know how top comedian Sunil turned into a hero and got hits like 'Andaala Ramudu', 'Maryada Ramanna', 'Poola Rangadu' and others. But many comedians who turned heroes are not getting good roles and their movies are becoming flops. As they became heroes, they won't get comedy roles again and their career gets finished ultimately. In the meantime, new and young comedians are entering the scene.
Also, people are not showing interest in watching films that has comedians as heroes. They are not able to do good business lately and the only money they are getting are through OTT platforms. Young comedians like Sapthagiri, Sudheer and a few other artists from Jabardasth have become heroes but none of them became successful. We all know how becoming a hero damaged Sunil's career who was on his way to occupy the throne of top comedian in Telugu. This is why comedy hero films are not having a minimum guarantee like before.
