2022 is not good for the film industry. The Tollywood film industry also lost a few eminent personalities like Rebel Star Krishna Raju and Superstar Krishna. While the industry is yet to come out of the sadness of losing Krishna Garu, another personality left us causing a bit more pain.

Noted writer-director Madan who was behind critically acclaimed films passed away. It is said that he breathed his last while undergoing treatment for the brain stroke he sustained a few days back.

Condolence messages are pouring in for the family. As per the information, Madan suffered a brain stroke and was rushed to the Jubilee Hills facility of Apollo Hospitals. Treatment is going on for the past few days. Unfortunately, he could not make it and passed away.

Madan started his stint in the Tollywood film industry on a big note by writing the script of Rajendra Prasad starrer Aa Naluguru which is one of the classic films in the industry. Not just the story, Madan also wrote the screenplay and dialogue for the film.

The film is critically acclaimed and even won a few Nandi Awards by the then Andhra Pradesh government. Later he started a new production house after the film titled "Aa Naluguru films".

Madan became a director with the Pellaina Kothalo film that stars Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani. Besides receiving good reviews the film also emerged as a box office hit.

Madan is a noted face in the Kannada film industry with his Coffee with My Wife film. He has written the script and also produced it. The Kannada film received good reviews from critics. Madan’s last film as a director is Gayatri. The Manchu family multistarrer could not make big noise at the box office.

Coming to his personal life Madan was born and brought up in Madanapalle in Chittoor District. He went to Sri Venkateswara University in the temple city Tirupathi for his graduation. Madan has an interest in writing short stories and plays in his college days only which made him enter the film industry. He started his career as an assistant cameraman before becoming a scriptwriter.
