OTT Giant to Make a Reality Show out of its Hit Show

Given the success of the series, Netflix is gearing up to bring the second season, and fans are waiting to hear about the sequel. Amid this, the OTT platform said that a reality show will be made based on the show. The only change is that, unlike the series, the reality show will not have any violence.

The announcement made by the OTT platform made everyone await the guidelines and procedure to enroll themselves as the platform announced a whopping amount as the prize money for the winners. Who manages to win the reality show will win not less than $4.56 million.

The reality show is titled Squid Game: The Challenge and more than 400 participants are expected to take part and will face various challenges taking a cue from the series. The participants who manage to finish the changes will be announced winners and will be presented with a trophy and cash money.

The OTT platform said that the interested people can go through the prescribed website and enroll themselves for the casting of the reality show. There are a few guidelines for the show. The participants should speak English and they should be above 18 years. They should hold passports.

Netflix gave three categories for the participants of the reality show. The participants should register themselves under three categories based on where they come from. USA, UK, and the Rest of the World are the three categories.

"As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show - plus surprising new additions - their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them. The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed,” the OTT platform said while announcing the reality show.
