Pawan Kalyan's recent outing 'Vakeel Saab', which marks his comeback to the silver screen after three years had a good opening at the box office. The film even received good word of mouth.
However, despite having a good start, Vakeel Saab failed to continue the collections and the collections have dropped significantly in the second week. Vakeel Saab was released on April 9, Friday.
From Monday, April 12, Vakeel Saab has been witnessing a drop in the collections. After seeing a rise in collections on Ugadi festival, the collections have again fallen from the next days.
Despite the phenomenal start, Vakeel Saab was restricted to the list of top ten films that cloaked highest grosser in the first week at RTC X-Roads, one of the key centers for collections in Hyderabad.
The ongoing second wave of the Coronavirus has impacted the movie collections, which in turn resulted in the courtroom drama bagging 10th place, at RTC X-Roads with Rs 83,05,283 gross.

Vakeel Saab, Pawan Kalyan's comeback film was helmed by Venu Sriram, which is an official remake of Bollywood hit 'Pink'. Pawan Kalyan reprised Amitabh Bachchanâ€™s role in the courtroom drama.
Dil Raju bankrolled the court room drama under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj played prominant roles in Vakeel Saab.
