Of late, there have been reports claiming that Pooja Hegde will be playing female lead in Jr NTR's NTR30 which is likely to hit the floors in three months from now. It was heard that Pooja Hegde had signed the dotted line already and she will be joining sets right from the first schedule. But our sources have confirmed that Pooja Hegde is not locked for NTR30, at least for now. She is indeed the front runner to play the leading lady but nothing is for certain for now. The makers have initiated talks with the happening beauty but she is yet to sign the dotted line. Her inclusion in the star cast will ultimately depend on her availability.
Pooja Hegde is a busy actress now. She is presently busy with Thalapathy Vijay's Beast and is also set to join the sets of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty's Cirkus. She might be taking part in the final schedule of Prabhas's Radhe Shyam which will be commencing towards the end of this month. She has a couple of other projects in the pipeline as well. As for NTR30, she will have to allot her dates on priority basis and it remains to be seen if she will do the needful. The final call on whether or not to rope her in will depend on her dates issuance.
The makers haven't locked the leading lady as of now and they are keeping their options open. They are zeroing in on a couple of other alternatives and will act accordingly based on Pooja's response. We have been hearing the Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani is also in consideration for the female lead role. Neither Kiara nor the makers of NTR30 opened up about the same and these speculations died down eventually.
As things stand, Pooja Hegde is in pole position to land the lady lead role but the chances of the makers roping in some other actress for role are also quite high. The final call in this regard will be taken in the near future and an announcement will be made correspondingly.
NTR30 is directed by Koratala Siva and it is bankrolled by Sudhakar under Yuvasudha Arts banner. It is heard that Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the much-awaited collaboration. More details about the project are under the wraps for now.
