Posani Krishna Murali convened a press conference to inform that he is hale & hearty. Responding to the rumours about his health condition on Social Media, The Character Artiste told: 'It's true that I had fallen sick few months ago but now I am completely fine. Doctor MV Rao saved my life. I am indebted to him. My humble request to media is to refrain from spreading rumours about my health condition. If media reports that I am yet to recover, Filmmakers willn't consider Me for roles in their projects. In that way, I might lose offers. So, I request everyone not to spread false reports. I am completely fit and ready to face camera'.
When quizzed if he is expecting any posts from YCP Government after Prithvi was appointed as Chairman of TTD Channel and Ali was chosen as head of AP Film Corporation, Posani Krishna Murali made it clear he have no aspirations what-so-ever. At the same time, The Actor maintained he is ready to fulfill whatever responsibility offered by AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
In May 2019, Posani underwent surgery for a hernia. He was advised complete bed rest for few months. That is why he hadn't taken part in 2019 Election Campaigning but held press meets to voice his opinion in support of YCP at crucial times.
