Starring Prabhas in the role of Lord Sri Rama, Adipurush is billed to be one of the costliest projects in Indian cinema. T Series Entertainments are spending in upwards of Rs 300 crores on the project and it is presently under production stage. Saif Ali Khan, who plays demon king, Raavan, and Kriti Sanon, who will be seen as Sita Devi are currently shooting for the film in a specially erected set in Mumbai. As for Prabhas, he recently wrapped up Radhe Shyam and he is prepping up to resume shooting for Adipurush and Salaar very soon, He has already allotted dates for these two mega projects. Of the two projects, Prabhas will start shooting for Adipurush first.

As per the latest updates, one-third of Adipurush's shoot has been wrapped up already. Majority of the solo scenes featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon have been shot in the recent schedule. Their combination scenes with Prabhas will be shot once the latter is back on the sets of the project. Even Prabhas is eager to resume shooting for the project as he wishes to wrap up the shoot at the earlicest. He might be back on the sets of Adipurush as early as next month. The makers hope to wrap up the shoot by the end of this year or early next year so that they can spend ample time on the post-production and on the editing table. They wish to complete the production by mid-2022 and intend to start promoting the film aggressively for at least 2-3 months ahead of its release.

Adipurush is based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayan and it is being directed by Om Raut. As mentioned above, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing important roles in the mythological film. More details about the project might be out once Prabhas is back on the sets.

Prabhas is likely to shoot for both Adipurush and Salaar simultaneously. He plans to complete these two projects as early as he possibly can so that he can commence the regular shoot of Nag Ashwin's sci-fi thriller.
