Film producer Natti Kumar came in front of the media and claimed that the decision taken by the Andhra Pradesh government is beneficial to both the audience as well as small filmmakers. Speaking about this issue Natti Kumar said, "AP government issued GO no.35 on April 8th. It was actually a GO that we were requesting from Film Chamber right from the days when TDP was in the ruling. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy took this decision as a step to help small film producers and the audience. This GO was passed on April 8th while 'Vakeel Saab' released on April 9th which made people think that it was an action taken against Pawan's film but there is no truth behind it."

He added that the benefit shows of 'Vakeel Saab' were canceled due to the differences in opinion about the ticket prices and the government had nothing to do with it. Natti Kumar vented his anger on D Suresh Babu by saying that he wants to shut down the theatres now after 'Vakeel Saab' got enough collections. Natti Kumar said that his film 'Deyyam' is releasing on 16th and if anything happens, he will be going to court to get justice. Producer's council joint Secretary J V Mohan Goud praised the AP government by saying that they delayed three months fixed current charges and six months of charges which helped them a lot. He explained that the government took a good decision by reducing ticket rates.
