'RRR' Worldwide Closing Collections Details!

India's top director SS Rajamouli's prestigious project 'RRR' created a tsunami at the box office with its humongous collections. The magnum opus hit the big screens on 25th March and this fictional period drama has collected a share of 1118 crores worldwide. Including the GST, sources say that it got a distributor share of 583 crores at the box office.
The film created a huge sensation and the performances of both the star heroes Ram Charan and NTR turned out to be the film's biggest assets. Rajamouli's unparalleled vision and hunger for perfection made this film the third-highest collecting film in the history of Indian cinema.
Coming to AP & Telangana, the movie got a share of 265.65 crores while the gross amounted to 394 crores. The movie earned 112 crores in the Nizam region alone. While the movie turned into a highly profitable venture in the Telugu states, a few distributors in other regions had minor losses.
The closing collections of 'RRR' at the overseas market was $27.5 million dollars and trade experts claim that more than half of the money came from North America. Overall, 'RRR' stood fourth in the list of highly earned film in India. 'Dangal', 'Baahubali 2' and 'KGF - 2' stand above 'RRR' in this list.

'RRR' is produced by DVV Danayya over a budget of over 400 crores. The lead actors delivered stupendous performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film's success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, 'RRR' has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others did key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Both of them are enjoying the humongous success of this pan-Indian film. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer.
