Celebrities Lash Out On Radha Ravi

Slowly, The Tamil film industry has been reacting strongly and condemning the insensitive and misogynist comments made by veteran actor Radha Ravi on actress Nayanthara. Many celebrities like Vishal, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Vignesh Shivana and Chinmayi have slammed the actor for his statements.
Speaking at the trailer launch event of Nayanthara's Kolayuthir Kaalam, Radha Ravi said, " Nayan has played the role of Sita and a ghost as well. Earlier, only an actress like KR Vijaya will be cast to play the role of the goddess. These days, any actress can take up any role."
Singer Chinmayi was the first one to react strongly on this comment. The singer was banned from Tamil Dubbing artists association which was headed by Radha Ravi himself, for making sexual abuse allegations on lyricist Vairamuthu. Later, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Vignesh Shivan have also added their voice. Nadigar Sangam's General secretary and actor Vishal stated that he wish he had the pleasure of signing the pleasure of condemning Radha Ravi's stupidity.
