Bold Actress Opens Up About Her Nude Scenes

Actress Radhika Apte is a very talented actress who can portray heavy emotions just with her eyes. But, she is mostly known for her bold appearances in films like 'Badlapur', 'Ahalya', 'Lust Stories' and 'Wedding Guest'. She also acting in a few South Indian flicks like 'Rakta Charitra', 'Dhoni', 'Legend' and 'Lion'.
Speaking in an interview, she revealed some upsetting incidents. She told that a director asked her to do a prostitute's role without proper justification as he thought that she would accept such roles without hesitation. In another incident, she was asked to play the role of a rape victim who turns into a rapist to get revenge. Radhika was shocked to hear this and rejected the film immediately.
Telling how this all started, Radhika told that she and Dev Patel had some intimate scenes in 'Wedding Guest' for which the makers convinced her to act nudely. As it was for an international audience, she too agreed to it and that is why filmmakers came to the conclusion that she acts in roles that involve sex scenes.
She denied them and claimed that she would do such scenes only if they had a strong reason but not to attract masses towards theatres.
