Ram Charan's Matured Reaction On Acharya's Failure!

For the past few years, Tollywood has been at a good pace and getting bigger and bigger. From the Baahubali series to the recent magnum opus RRR, Tollywood is seeing great heights. While everything was going well Tollywood faced a big blow with multistarrer Acharya.
Acharya carried a lot of expectations as father-son duo Megastar Chiranjeevi and Megapower Star Ram Charan shared screen space and it marked the next film after the Pan-India film RRR. Acharya fell short of expectations and ended up as a big disaster in recent times.
Acharya's failure was such that director Koratala Siva reportedly settled some losses. It also impacted his next film as NTR 30 starring Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao did not take off as per the grapevine. Megastar Chiranjeevi reacted to the disaster and said he is not affected by it as they did what the director wanted him to do.
Many wanted Megapowerstar Ram Charan to react to the Acharya disaster. All these days he kept silent. Putting an end to the long wait Ram Charan finally reacted to the Acharya disaster and said nobody came to watch his small film.
Without taking any names Ram Charan said the content in the film matters and after the Pan-India RRR, he acted in a small film, and even after the film coming post RRR no one watched it. âContent is the only thing that matters. Right after RRR, my another film was released, in which I had a small cameo. Nobody watched that,â Ram Charan said.
Experts are saying Ram Charan gave a mature reaction to Acharya's failure instead of simply blaming the director alone. It takes collective efforts to finish a film and blaming one person is not the right idea. Though Ram Charan did not take Acharya's name he said Content is king and nobody came to watch the film.
Ram Charan made these comments while addressing the 20th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. He shared the Dias with Khiladi Akshay Kumar. The two heroes gave their opinions on what brings audiences to the theatres and how people's choices changed post the Covid pandemic.
