There was a lot of uncertainty over the release date of 'Venky Mama' right from the start. The team announced that the film will be released on December 13th a few days back. With less than ten days left for promotions, everyone in the team were worried but it was Rana Daggubati who took up the responsibility of taking this film into the public and came out with flying colours.

Also, he is said to be the one that designed the promotional strategies for the film and organised two big events before the release.
