Young Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna is slowly becoming one of the busiest heroines in South India. She started this year on a grand note with hits like 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Bheeshma'. She will be seen as a village belle in Allu Arjun's upcoming film 'Pushpa' directed by Sukumar.
The recent news in the industry is that Rashmika is going to be seen as a sportswoman once again in her upcoming Tamil Telugu bilingual with Karthi. She agreed for this film long back and sources say that this film may kick start as soon as the permissions are given.
Earlier, she was seen as a cricketer in Vijay Devarakonda's flop film 'Dear Comrade'. She failed to impress as a cricketer though her performance got a lot of acclaim. There were comments that she looked too thin for an athlete. Now, she is going to play the role of an athlete again in Karthi's film. We need to see if she impresses us this time or not.
