Tollywood star producers are facing back-to-back setbacks nowadays. Big names like Allu Aravind, Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, and Naveen-Ravi Shankar (Mythri) have scored flops in recent times. But they are big names in Tollywood who are unaffected by these setbacks and can easily focus on other projects. They scored huge hits over the past few years too.

After turning into a producer, he made 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' which raised expectations but ended up disappointing the audience. He then bankrolled 'Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu' which was a feel-good family entertainer but did not succeed at the box office. He took the risk and made a bold movie like 'Virata Parvam' which lacked the regular commercial elements. We all know how it ended up. Despite setting good combinations and selecting good scripts, he is unable to find a hit.
He pinned a lot of hopes on 'Ramarao On Duty' and expected it to become his first hit. But it ended up being the biggest disaster in his banner till date. Now, people are worried about what might happen to his next project 'Dasara'. Since the losses are high for Ravi Teja's film, pundits predict that he may have to return some money back to the buyers.
