Megastar Chiranjeevi's son-in-law Kalyan Dhev made his debut in Tollywood with 'Vijetha' which failed to succeed at the box-office. After taking a brief gap, he is coming up with his second film 'Super Machi' which is being directed by Puli Vasu. Klayan recently revealed some interesting facts about his second film.
He said that filmy background not guarantee you success and a lot of hard work needs to be done. He will be seen as a bar singer in 'Super Machi' and Kalyan himself okayed the script of 'Super Machi' while Chiranjeevi helped him during his launch.
Speaking about the film's shooting, Kalyan Dhev said that he self-quarantined himself during the days he was filming as he didn't want to take any kind of risk with his family. He told that it is hard to stay away from his kids as their elder daughter's birthday is on Sunday but he is not going to take part in it. He added that he will be getting the tests done in a few days and will come out of quarantine.
Speaking about the heroine of 'Super Machi', Kalyan Dhev stated that Rhea Chakraborthy ('Tuneega Tuneega' fame) was roped in to play the lead but after shooting for two weeks, she reportedly walked away from the project claiming that she got a chance to work with Sushant Singh Rajput. After that, the team brought Kannada heroine Rachita Ram and reshot the filmed portions. Kalyan Dhev concluded by saying that the medium of release for this film will be in the hands of producers as it will be tough to get a theatrical release for the next few months.
