Is Nani Taking Huge Risk?

Vikram Kumar became famous with Manam and he did deliver a thrilling movie next with 24. Even though later is not as bigger hit as Manam, it did give him leverage to ask for dates of big stars.
If the movie ended up being a blockbuster, he would have been busy with offers. Then he made Hello with Akhil.
Movie failed to live upto the expectations and the director did ask for huge budget in that film too. He is repeating the same with Nani too.
Nani's market is close to 20 crores irrespective of talk. If the movie, becomes a hit, the collection can go past 40 crores.
But Vikram is asking for 50 crores budget and is asking for producers to trust the script, it seems. Recently we have seen Devdas and Padi Padi Leche Manasu failing when actors tried to stretch the budget limitations. Will the same effect to this movie also?
