The promotions of 'Liger' are going on at full swing and Vijay Deverakonda along with Ananya Pandey are giving numerous interviews along with touring across the country. It is without a doubt that 'Liger' is the biggest film in young hero Vijay Deverakonda's career. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, this movie is Vijay's maiden pan-Indian venture and everyone are eager to see what Puri-Vijay combo churns out.
As we know, Vijay is seen wearing casual chappals during the promotions of the film. While a lot of Northern heroes try to be at their stylish best, Vijay pulled off the cool appearance with casual chappals quite effectively. This went viral and many tried to draw similarities between Deverakonda and Bollywood action hero John Abraham.
For people who are unaware, the 'Dhoom' hero attends a lot of promotional events in chappals. When asked if he was copying John in terms of appearance, Vijay replied that it is not the case and added that he wears chappals as they are quite comfortable. The 'Arjun Reddy' star added that he never knew it would become such big news.
Liger' is coming out in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale. Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, the cast of 'Liger' includes Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and others. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor for 'Liger' which is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh.
