Saif Ali Khan's 'Tandav' Lands In Big Controversy

Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role, released on Amazon Prime Video today. The political drama series is receiving a lot of bad reviews on social media. However, in just a day of its release, Ali Abbas Zaffar's directorial has caused a great deal of controversy on social media. Netizens are on fire that the series has some scenes are offensive to the Hindu gods and they hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.

Some of the people have started trending the hashtag #BanTandavNow and a section of netizens even termed Tandav as 'Anti Hindu series' and said that the creators are trying to mock Hindu gods. Not surprisingly, many prominent politicians in the North have also demanded that the series be banned. It remains to be seen where this conflict will lead.

Besides Saif Ali Khan, the web series also features Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Gauahar Khan among others.
